Coleman Wade was a building contractor from Altus, OK who built storage facilities for Billy Sol Enterprises.  He became involved in with the allotments for "growing" and "storing" of non-existent crops.

He was under investigation and met Estes in Pecos, TX.  After the meeting his plane crashed on the way home, killing him.
