Earle Cabell
Dallas mayor brother of Charles Cabell

I am completely aware of the people running up that hill. I saw the man throw the child on the ground and throw himself. I saw a woman in a bright green dress throw herself on the ground. I saw the policeman running up the grassy slope. Sworn testimony
Coming from an old Texas family and son of Confederate General William Cabell, Earle and his brother, Charles (recently fired from the CIA), had a good start to their public careers. Records show Earle Cabell as a CIA asset beginning around 1956.
Earle was the Mayor of Dallas when John Kennedy came to town. He laid out the route taken by the motorcade which violated numerous security protocols. He helped plan the route that took the motorcade through the extremely slow turn at Dealey Plaza.
He served as a 4 term congressman in later years.
Neither Charles, nor his brother Earle were called to testify before the Warren Commission.
