Kennedy's assassination wasn't a conspiracy.  It was a coup.

James Tague was a local car salesman on his way to have lunch with his girlfriend when he ran into the traffic backup from the coming motorcade. He parked is car and stood near the triple under pass. When he heard the shots he believed they came from the fence at the grassy knoll.

After one of the shots, he felt a sting on his cheek. As he was looking over the area, Dallas detective Buddy Walthers noticed some blood on Tague's cheek. They went back to where he was standing and found a fresh chip out of the curb.

The fact that this indicated a missed shot, necessitated the magic bullet theory to maintain the official story of three shots coming from the sixth floor window. Almost a year later that section of the curb was removed and is now in the National Archives. FBI analysts said there was no trace of copper where the bullet hit... after almost a year of being out in the weather.
