Most of those listed below were generally supportive of the President, although over time a couple of relationships soured. There is no indication that any of them had anything to do with the assassination, however it is quite possible that association with some of the people contributed to his demise. For instance, the fact that John's father, Joseph, used his connections to the underworld and convinced them to help swing the very tight election in favor of John... after which his Attorney General brother made it his business to try to drive the mobsters out of business. Then there was Mary Pinchot Meyer whose relationship with the President gave her access to much more information than civilians were entitled to.
