New Orleans Connection
New Orleans was a hot bed of Cuban exile activity as they prepared to go back to free their island home. They were training on the north side of Lake Ponchartrain and were supported by the likes of Bannister and Ferrie. When Jim Garrison saw nothing was being done about the killing of the US President he did his own investigation. In spite of witnesses disappearing or refusing to testify, he started his quest for the truth with Clay Shaw, however the DA's office was no match for the folks from Washington with their resources and determination to hide the truth from the American people.
