Truth is treason in the empire of lies.

Richard Carr

from 7th floor of courthouse – saw Wallace & others
Richard Carr

Richard Carr was a construction worker working on the new courthouse facing Dealey Plaza. He paused from his work to watch the motorcade go by. As he looked over to the school book depository, he saw a heavy set man with horn-rimmed glasses and tan sport coat on the sixth floor. Carr counted four shots. Then he the saw the same man hustling out of the building and getting into a Rambler station wagon driven with enthusiasm by a dark skinned man. According to Loy Factor, who claimed to be on the sixth floor at the time, this was Mac Wallace.

His account was validated by Dallas police officer Roger Craig. However, when he told the FBI agent, the response was a dismissive: "If you didn't see Lee Harvey Oswald in the School Book Depository with a rifle, you didn't see it." The Warren Commission showed no interest in his testimony.

Sharing this information caused Carr to realize he was a marked man. Dallas police roused him from his sleep as they raided his home supposedly looking for stolen goods. No charges were filed. He received threatening phone calls telling him to get out of Texas. He moved to Montana for his safety. He still found dynamite in his car.

New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison was much more interested in what Carr had to say. However before he testified he was attacked unsuccessfully by a gunman. They didn't give up easily as later still he was attacked by two men and stabbed – but he fought back and fatally injured one. Failing to follow the approved narrative can be hazardous to one's health.
