Seymour Weitzman
Dallas deputy constable - IDed rifle as a Mauser

First one, then the second two seemed to be simultaneously.
Deputy Constable Seymour Weitzman helped search the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository. He came across a rifle hidden among the boxes. Because of his knowledge of sporting rifles, he immediately identified it as a German Mauser because of the markings on the barrel. He then showed it to Deputy Sheriffs Eugene Boone and Roger Craig.
This was not a Mannlicher Carcano as stated in the official report.
