Will Fritz
Dallas PD investigator stopped by DC

Will Fritz joined the Dallas Police Department in 1921. As a homicide detective, he earned a reputation for getting information and often confessions from suspects. He was the lead investigator when Lee Oswald was arrested and brought into the police offices. He made brief notes after the interrogation that was also attended by FBI agents.
Apparently the agents did not like where he was going or the information he was getting close to and word got back to the White House. As he was digging for more and more information, he got a call from the White House demanding he stop the questioning and take it no further.
