Yuri Nosenko
KGB spook said Oswald not associated with KGB

Yuri Nosenko was a KGB agent who defected to the US in 1964. There was some concern that he was a plant sent to spread lies and dissension in our country. The CIA spent three years holding him and trying to catch him and find evidence that he was not the real deal. They were force to conclude that he was a genuine defector.
He was still being evaluated when the Warren Commission was verifying his reliability. In 1978 the House Select Committee on Assassinations heard his testimony but did not fully accept what he told them.
Apparently he was familiar with the time Lee Oswald was in Russia. He said that Oswald was never even questioned about his time in the Marines and the top secret information he may have held in his head because he seemed “abnormal”. This is most likely why he was assigned to work in a radio assembly factory.
